Join Us for Our 47th Annual Meeting

9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
at The Barn at Overlook

LANCO's Annual Meeting will be held at The Barn at Overlook, located within the Overlook Community Campus off of Fruitville Pike in Lancaster. A breakfast buffet will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the business meeting at 10:00 AM.

Primary members over the age of 18 are encouraged to attend LANCO's annual meeting and participate in the proceedings. Primary members in attendance will be entered to win a 32" HD Flat Screen TV!*

A fee of $10.00 will be charged to primary members wishing to bring a joint owner on their account or a guest.

Board Elections Will Be Held

The Nominating Committee has presented three incumbents to fill the expiring terms on the LANCO Board of Directors:

Lois Greenawalt

Lois has served on the LANCO Board of Directors since 1986 and has been a member of LANCO for over 40 years. She received a degree in elementary education from Kutztown University and a master’s degree from Millersville University. She retired from Hempfield School District where she worked as an elementary school teacher for 30 years. Lois is active in several social groups and volunteers at the Lancaster Habitat for Humanity ReStore. She enjoys traveling to other countries and researching her family’s genealogy.

David Ober

Dave has served on the LANCO Board of Directors since 2009 and has been a member of LANCO for over 40 years. He taught Social Studies at Penn Manor High School for 32 years and retired as the Social Studies Department Chairman. Dave currently works at G.R. Mitchell Lumber Company and volunteers at the Lancaster Regional Blood Bank. He is also a member of the Kansas City Chiefs football club of Central Pennsylvania.

Robert Steinruck

Bob has served on the LANCO Board of Directors since 1985 and has been a member of LANCO for over 40 years. He holds a master’s degree and Principal and Superintendent Certification from the University of Delaware. Bob was employed as a school administrator for 32 years, and retired after a total of 43 years in education.

Nomination Information

Members wishing to submit a nomination petition for an available board seat (a voluntary position) must do so by February 1, 2012. All petitions must be signed by 1% of LANCO’s membership and include biographical information. Petitions should be mailed to: LANCO Federal Credit Union, Nominating Committee, 349 W Roseville Rd, Lancaster PA 17601.

According to the credit union's bylaws, nominations from the floor are not permitted unless sufficient nominations have not been made by the Nominating Committee or by petition. The Nominating Committee submitted sufficient nominations to fill the vacancies this year.

 

*One winner will be randomly selected at the conclusion of the business meeting. Winner must be present during the drawing. If not present, another winner will be selected. LANCO employees, board members, and the family/household members of employees and board members are not eligible to enter the drawing.
