Gerald Fortney Memorial Scholarship

Each year, a $2,000 award is presented in the honor of the memory of LANCO's founding CEO, Gerald Fortney. Graduating high school seniors who meet the eligibility requirements may apply for this scholarship beginning in January of their graduating year.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

1. Must be a LANCO member or the child of a LANCO member in good standing.
2. Must be a member of current graduating class.
3. Must have been accepted at an accredited institution and plan to earn a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
4. Must have demonstrated a mature and respectful attitude toward peers and teachers.
5. Must have demonstrated a willingness to be of service to his/her community.

Demonstrated financial need will also be considered.
