Hang Ten is a long-term savings program designed to encourage youth to save consistently to better prepare them for financial responsibility in adulthood. A deposit of just $10 a month into a Hang Ten account gets you $1 from LANCO! It’s a great way to stash cash until the age of 18. And, along the way, you’ll learn a lot of great tips about building a solid financial future.

Deposit $10.00 or more into a Hang Ten account and LANCO will add $1.00 to the account. ($1.00 is the maximum monthly contribution by LANCO regardless of member deposit amount.)
LANCO contributions are made on a quarterly basis.
These funds may not be withdrawn until the child reaches age 18 and has participated in LANCO’s required financial counseling program.
If the account is closed prior to age 18, LANCO’s contributions are returned to the credit union.
If the Hang Ten account is closed, there is a waiting period of one year before a new Hang Ten account may be opened in that child’s name.
Report card rewards are eligible for deposit into this account.
Hang Ten accounts with a balance of at least $25 will earn the same interest rate as regular shares.
Hang Ten accounts may be opened at a $0 balance.
The child must have a LANCO Kids Klub or Teen account with a minimum balance of $25.00.
