We do not automatically collect or require you to provide personal information when you visit or use our website. You may choose to use optional online services provided by us, such as account applications, contact forms, payment portals, online banking, or mobile apps, which will require you to provide personal information. When you use these services, we may collect personal information from you such as your name, e-mail address, phone number, and mailing address. As reasonably required for the services you are requesting, we may also collect information from you such as your account number, username and password, social security number, driver’s license number, and payment information.

Lanco Federal Credit Union uses encryption technology such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to protect information you enter and submit from our website. We use the information you provide online to respond to your needs and service your accounts.

Usage and Other Information

We or our third-party partners use analytics tools on our website, including cookies, web beacons, or other technologies to gather anonymous statistics about your use of our online services. Online and Mobile Banking Services

In addition to collection and usage of information as described above, the use of your information that you provide or we collect in relation to our online or mobile services is described in further detail within the terms of use or user agreement applicable to the service(s) in which you opt to enroll. If you use the Lanco FCU mobile app, we may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device. If you grant permission to use your device’s location, the data will be used when checking for nearby branch and ATM locations. If you grant permission to access stored media such as photos or files, the data may be used to add an image to a transaction, to attach a document to chat, and to add a photo to your profile. If you grant permission to use a camera, it will be used when taking a picture to add an image to a transaction or to capture images of a check that is being deposited or to add a photo to your profile. If you wish to change the permissions you granted, you may do so in your device’s settings.

If you opt to enroll in Lanco Federal Credit Union’s card management app, MyLancoCards, please also be aware of the following: MyLancoCards (“the Solution”) periodically collects, transmits, and uses geolocation information for enabling features that prevent fraudulent card use and alerts, but only if you (“the End User”) expressly authorize collection of such information. Geolocation information can be monitored on a continuous basis in the background only while the Solution is being used or not at all, depending on the End User’s selection. The End User can change his/her/their location permissions at any time in their device settings.

To Request Deletion of Your Data

To delete your online and mobile banking profile and associated data, or to delete your MyLancoCards profile, please contact us with your request by writing to or calling 888-318-4222. Once your request has been processed, your profile will not be able to be recovered, and you will no longer be able to use our digital banking services unless you re-enroll.

How we use collected information

We use the collected information described above as needed for ordinary business purposes, such as:

  • Responding to your inquiries;
  • Processing applications;
  • Verifying your identity;
  • Preventing fraud;
  • Preventing unauthorized access of your account or our online services;
  • Performing analytics related to your use of our services, including your responses to our marketing e-mails or advertisements;
  • Monitoring the performance of our services;
  • For any other purposes that we may specify at the time you provide your personal information.

Child Online Privacy and Protection

Lanco Federal Credit Union does not actively solicit or knowingly collect data from children under 13 years of age without obtaining consent from a parent or legal guardian.
