The first time you log into the app, you will be prompted to create a device passcode, and you can choose to enable biometric login. For future logins, your password will be saved, and you can simply log in by entering your passcode or using your fingerprint or facial recognition.

(If you share your device with other people, and your device recognizes their fingerprint or face, we recommend that you protect your account from unauthorized access by disabling the biometric option for the Lanco FCU app. You can easily change your app login settings at any time—open the app menu, tap “Settings,” and then tap “Security.”)

The first page that loads when you sign into the app is designed to give you quick access to the information and tools that are most important to you. Tap the “…” on the right-hand side of each tile to adjust the display options and organize your dashboard.

If you have more than one Lanco FCU membership, the Lanco FCU app makes it easy to log into multiple online banking profiles.

To add a new profile or switch between profiles, tap your name at the app login screen. You can also find these options within the app menu by tapping your name, then “Switch profiles.”

(Having trouble distinguishing between your profiles? Update your “preferred first name” in the app settings to customize the display name for your membership accounts.)

Depositing checks to your Lanco FCU account has never been more convenient. Use your phone or tablet to take a photo of a check and deposit it in minutes! Mobile deposit saves you time and money by eliminating the need to mail the check or drive to a branch.

Enrolling in Mobile Deposit

To remotely deposit a check into your account, you first need to enroll. Start by tapping the “Deposit” icon from the mobile app dashboard, or select “Deposit Checks” from the app menu. Then, select the checking or savings account(s) that you want to enroll, type in the required information, and tap Done. Enrollment requests are typically approved within 1-2 business days.

For each account, you will need to know your 10- or 13-digit MICR number. If you do not know this full account number, you can find this information within the app. From the dashboard or Accounts screen, tap any account of yours to view details, including your account number (MICR).

Making Deposits

Prior to every deposit, a message will display to remind you of important details such as deposit limits, proper endorsements, check holds and cutoff times. Please follow the endorsement directions to ensure that your deposit will be accepted.
After submitting a deposit, keep the original check in a safe place for 45 days. Ensure that the check has posted to and cleared your account before destroying or discarding your check. After 45 days, you may destroy the check or mark it VOID.

Accept Payments Directly Into Your Checking Account

If your customers are asking to pay with a credit card, great news! Your Lanco FCU business checking account can handle that, and it’s easy to manage with Autobooks in the Lanco FCU app. This tool is great for small businesses who want to accept online payments, or even organizations who want a convenient way to collect donor contributions. There’s no setup fee, and no monthly fee—you only pay 3.49% when you accept a payment via card, or 1% when you accept a payment via bank transfer. With a Lanco FCU business checking or organizational checking account, you can enroll in Autobooks by tapping “Send an Invoice” or “Accept Payments Now” from the Lanco FCU app dashboard.
