Account Alerts: Customize Your Notifications

We could all use a little help when it comes to keeping track of account balances and transactions. Lanco FCU’s Alerts helps you do exactly that, by letting you set up notifications for the activities and information most important to you. You can choose to receive Alerts by e-mail, text message, and/or push notifications. (While there is no fee for using Alerts, your mobile provider’s text messaging and data rates may apply.)

Popular Alerts Notifications

There are many Alerts available, from account security topics to account activities. Security alerts, such as notifying you of password changes or updates to your e-mail address, will automatically be sent to your e-mail address. You can choose to add text message or push notifications for those alerts, as well.

The following balance and transaction alerts are also available, and can be customized per account:

  • A balance falls below a specified amount
  • A balance is above a specified amount
  • A debit (withdrawal) of a specified amount or greater occurs in your account
  • A credit (deposit) of a specified amount or greater occurs in your account

To be notified of all transactions occurring on your account, setup alerts when a Debit of $0 or greater occurs and when a Credit of $0 or greater occurs.

Push Notifications Delayed During Quiet Hours:  If you select the in-app/push notifications option for your alerts, please note that those alerts will not be sent during the quiet hours of 12 AM to 8:30 AM Eastern Time—any delayed notifications will be delivered after 8:30 AM. If you wish to receive notifications any time of day, please also enable the e-mail and/or text message notifications.

How to Set Up Alerts for Your Account

You can easily enroll in and manage Alerts for your account with Lanco FCU’s Online Banking or the Lanco FCU mobile app.

After logging in, select any savings, checking, or loan account from the Dashboard page, or navigate to Accounts from the main menu. Select the account you wish to manage alerts for, then click the Alerts Preferences button.
