June 22, 2020: Lanco FCU Branch Services in the “Green” Phase
Lanco FCU will reopen all lobbies on Monday, June 29. We ask that members continue to use the drive-thru and self-services whenever able, and to wear a face mask when entering a Lanco FCU branch lobby. We appreciate your continued cooperation and patience so that our staff may continue to serve you as safely as possible. Update— June 5, 2020: What does the “Yellow” phase mean for Lanco FCU branch services?
With Lancaster County officially in the Yellow phase of Governor Wolf’s reopening plan, many businesses are now able to welcome back customers, with limitations and safety measures in place. In this phase, Lanco FCU is continuing to follow recommended practices to limit in-person interactions to protect the health of our members and staff. Refer to the sections below for detailed information about lobby closures, drive-thru services, and more.
In-Person and Contact-Free Member Services
Lobby Service: Available, with Safety Measures
Lanco FCU resumed full lobby services at all branches as of Monday, June 29.
We encourage you to continue using our drive-thru and self-service options whenever possible, as social distancing remains the most effective way to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. Should you need services within a Lanco FCU branch lobby, please note that we are taking safety precautions to protect the health of our staff and members, including:
- Face Masks— Wearing a face mask remains a requirement inside of PA businesses. When entering a Lanco FCU branch, please wear your face mask and remove your sunglasses, hat, and any other optional headwear. Our staff may ask you to temporarily lower or remove your face mask if needed to verify your identity.
- Social Distancing— Maintaining a 6-foot distance between yourself and others remains a best practice to reduce the spread of germs. With this in mind, we will be monitoring how many people are in our lobby, and if crowded, may ask members to wait before entering.
- Protective Shields— All member service areas now feature clear shields so our staff may serve you in close proximity while maintaining safety. Please stand or sit so that the shield is positioned between you and the representative assisting you.
We greatly appreciate your cooperation to ensure a safe environment for all of our members and staff.
Drive-Thru: Perform transactions or request additional services
Lanco FCU provides member services by drive-thru at three locations:
- 349 West Roseville Road, Lancaster (Mon.-Thu. 8:30-5:00, Fri. 8:30-6:00, Sat. 9:00-Noon)
- 974 East Main Street, Mount Joy (Mon.-Thu. 8:30-5:00, Fri. 8:30-6:00, Sat. Closed)
- 2516 Willow Street Pike North, Willow Street (Mon.-Thu. 8:30-5:00, Fri. 8:30-6:00, Sat. 9:00-Noon)
Please note that increased demand for drive-thru services may mean longer wait times than you may be used to. We have all lanes open and staffed and are working hard to keep wait times to a minimum. To help us serve you as quickly as possible, we kindly ask that you arrive to the window prepared with your transaction and instructions. If you do not have deposit slips on-hand, printable versions are available here, or if you don’t have a printer, you can use them as a reference to hand-write your instructions:
If you will be requesting services that may take some time—such as ordering a debit card, making a large withdrawal or updating contact information—please call us ahead of time. We will process as much as we can in advance to shorten your time in the drive-thru.
Self-Services: Bank from home with online, mobile and telephone services
Lanco FCU’s free E-Services enable you to manage your accounts from home—including the abilities to transfer funds, pay bills, and deposit checks—just to name a few.
- Get started with Online Banking. Use your login to access your Lanco FCU accounts and additional services including mobile banking, bill payer, and E-statements.
- Download the Lanco FCU mobile app. Enjoy convenient and secure banking from your phone or tablet, including the ability to deposit checks using your camera.
- Manage your accounts from any phone. Call Lanco FCU’s automated teller from any touch-tone phone to review account balances, perform transactions and more.
- Keep tabs on your Lanco FCU credit card. Review your credit card transactions, schedule payments and more by registering your account at GoToMyCard.com.

Night Depository: Securely drop off deposits or documents at any time
All Lanco FCU branches feature a night depository, generally located directly after the drive-thru window.
Use this facility to securely submit transactions or return signed documents without waiting in the drive-thru line or needing to visit during branch hours. Envelopes are provided, or you may use your own. Be sure to include any necessary instructions for processing your transaction and your name and phone number in case of any questions. Transactions are collected and processed on the following business day.
ATMs: Use your Lanco FCU debit card at any ATM
ATMs in the CU$ Network are surcharge-free with your Lanco FCU debit card.
Please note that, although Lanco FCU ATMs do not accept deposits, you may use any ATM to submit a deposit. Review nearby surcharge-free options for “Deposit” type ATMs at CUDollar.org.
Earning ATM fee reimbursements with your Kasasa checking account: Remember that with Lanco FCU’s Kasasa checking account, you can earn up to $30.00 per month in ATM fee reimbursements when you qualify for rewards.
Payment Relief for Lanco FCU Loans
Skip-a-Payment option for auto and personal loans
If you are repaying a Lanco FCU auto loan or personal loan, skipping your next month’s loan payment may be an option. We have temporarily waived the fee and eased some qualifying criteria.
Requests for this option must be submitted with all borrower’s signatures and are subject to approval by Lanco FCU. Please continue to make your monthly payment unless you have received approval to skip.
Loan extensions and relief options for loans and lines
If you need more time than one month’s skip—or need some relief on a loan type not eligible for Skip-a-Payment—a loan extension or payment relief loan may be available.
Generally, these options are available for repayments on a Lanco FCU auto loan, personal loan, personal line of credit, home equity loan, home equity line of credit, or Visa credit card.
Financial Relief Offerings
Fewer Purchases Required to Earn Kasasa Rewards
We’ve temporarily lowered the number of debit card purchases required to qualify for Kasasa rewards. Until further notice, you will earn Kasasa rewards when the following requirements are met during the monthly qualification cycle:
- At least 6 debit card point-of-sale purchases post and settle
- At least 1 ACH transaction posts and settles
- Enrollment in E-Statements
All other terms and conditions of the account remain the same. Qualifications may revert to the standard criteria outlined in your account agreements at any time.
Lanco FCU Personal Relief Loan
To help members experiencing financial hardship as a result of the pandemic, Lanco FCU is offering a special type of loan that features a low rate and deferred payments. Qualified borrowers may borrow up to $5,000.00 with rates starting at 2.99% APR.* The first three months feature 0% APR and deferred payments, then the repayment period lasts up to 33 months at the contract APR.* Contact us for more information about borrower requirements and how to apply.
*Borrower qualifications apply. Advertised rate available for borrowers with excellent credit; actual rate may be higher. Loan amounts/term maximums are as follows: $1,000 loan/12 months; $2,000 loan/24 months; $3,000-$5,000 loan/36 months. Payment example: A $5,000 loan at 2.99% APR would have 3 months of no interest or payments followed by 33 monthly payments of $158.80.

Tools to Help with Social Distancing
Depositing checks without leaving home
If you have a check to deposit, avoid the trip to the credit union. Deposit checks into your accounts using the Lanco FCU app and the camera on your smart phone or tablet.
Mobile deposits are subject to check holds as described in the Funds Availability Policy and generally available within 3 business days.

Using digital wallet for in-store purchases
Reduce the need to handle cash or touch payment terminals in stores by adding your Lanco FCU debit card to your digital wallet on your smart phone or watch. Supported wallets include Apple, Samsung, Google, Garmin, and Fitbit.
Paying bills or people directly from your account
Bill Payer allows you to send payments directly from your checking account without needing checks, envelopes and stamps, or a trip to the post office. Payments can be scheduled to companies, sent electronically or by check, and you can even use Bill Payer to send checks to other people. Log into Online Banking and click Bill Payer to get started.

Message Us through Online Banking
Use the Secure Message Center within Online Banking to ask questions about your accounts, request services, and more. Unlike unencrypted e-mail, writing to us through Secure Messages keeps all your information private and protected. When you receive a response from a Lanco FCU representative, you’ll receive an e-mail notification to log into Online Banking to retrieve your message.
