New Online Banking is Here!
New Online Banking Site Launched Tuesday, September 26
Lanco Federal Credit Union has been working to bring significant updates to our digital banking offerings. We’re excited to announce that on Tuesday, September 26, Lanco FCU launched a new online banking site, plus upgrades to our mobile app!
Smooth Transition Expected
Here are the key points you need to know:
Your online banking username and password will remain the same.
We expect you’ll enjoy a smooth transition to the new online banking site. You do not need to enroll or create a new password. You will continue to use the same username and password to log into the new site.
To access the login page, you’ll continue to click the same login button at the top of our website, or use the login form on our homepage to get started. (You may need to click the “Refresh” button on your web browser, or clear your browser’s cache, to load the updated links.)
If you use the Lanco FCU mobile app today, you’re a step ahead!
There’s no need to download any new app or create a new login. You will continue to access Lanco FCU mobile banking the exact same way you do today—and enjoy the added features now available!
Tips to Ensure an Easy First-Time Login Online:
Passwords and Bookmarks Saved in Your Web Browser
With Lanco FCU’s online banking site change, you may need to update your stored passwords or bookmarks.
If your Lanco FCU username and/or password previously filled in automatically:
When you log into our new online banking site for the first time, your web browser will not automatically suggest your saved login information. Luckily, you can retrieve your saved credentials in a few easy steps. From your web browser’s menu, navigate to Settings, then Passwords. You’ll find your Lanco FCU login credentials associated with “netteller.com”. For more help finding your stored passwords, we’ve linked instructions for the two most popular web browsers below:
If you have Lanco FCU’s online banking login page bookmarked:
You can always visit Lanco FCU’s website and click the Online Banking Login button at the top of any page, or use the login form available on our homepage. To navigate to the login page directly, update your bookmark with this new URL:
New login page: https://myaccounts.lancofcu.com
First-Time Login to New Online Banking Site
Lanco FCU’s online and mobile banking platforms are now powered by the same system. Members already using our mobile banking app will find the new online banking site familiar and easy to use.
If you never used the Lanco FCU mobile app before September 26, you will be prompted to setup Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) the first time that you log into online banking.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security measure that helps to keep your accounts safe from unauthorized access by prompting you to verify a one-time code, delivered to a device you own. You can choose to receive that code by text message, phone call, and/or an authenticator app.
Helpful Information & New Features!
E-Statements —new to mobile!
Your preference to receive electronic or paper statements will remain the same. If you already receive e-statements, there’s no need to re-enroll. As of September 26, you can access your electronic statements, notices and tax statements by clicking the “Documents” button in online or mobile banking.
Transfer to Another Member —new to mobile!
This popular feature of Online Banking will soon be available in the Lanco FCU mobile app, too! Starting September 26, you can find the “Member transfers” option within the main menu of online and mobile banking.
If you’re using Member to Member transfers today, we’re pleased to share with you that this service is about to get way more convenient. You’ll need to know the same information as before (the member’s last name, account number, and share or loan ID), but as of 9/26/23, you’ll only need to enter it once. Choose to save those details, and easily make transfers in the future or schedule transfers to occur automatically.
Bill Pay
Members enrolled in Bill Payer should see that all saved payees, scheduled payments, and payment history appears as usual. For your convenience, the online and mobile banking dashboards feature shortcuts to setup or view scheduled payments. If you prefer the “classic” Bill Payer view that you see today, click “Manage payments” (available from Online Banking only). Otherwise, enjoy the convenience of scheduling and managing your payees and payments directly within online and mobile banking!
Account Alerts
Security Alerts
For your security and peace of mind, your enrollment in online and mobile banking will automatically trigger e-mail notifications for certain activities, such as changes to your e-mail address, username or password, or updates to your contact information made online. Additionally, you can opt into mobile push notifications and/or text message notifications.
Balance and Transaction Alerts
With the new online and mobile banking, you can easily control alerts for accounts that you want to keep close tabs on. Set up e-mail, push notification, and/or text message alerts to notify you when your balance is:
- lower than an amount you specify
- higher than amount you specify
- your account has a withdrawal higher than an amount you specify
- your account has a deposit higher than amount you specify
Notice: eAlert Service Discontinued 9/26/2023
If you are currently using our e-Alerts service to receive text and/or email notifications about your accounts, those notifications will stop sending as of 9:00 a.m. on 9/26/2023. We encourage you to log into the new online banking or mobile banking app on 9/26/23 to enroll in the new Alerts options. You can find these by clicking any savings, checking or loan account, then selecting “Alert preferences” to manage your alerts.
Support —new Secure Messaging!
We’re very excited to announce that along with the new online banking site, member support will now be available via secure messaging within online and mobile banking!
You can use this service by navigating to the “Messages” page, or click “Start a conversation” anywhere you see the option presented throughout the online or mobile banking. This will put you in touch with a real person—no robots here! Our member service team will help answer any questions or requests that you have regarding your membership, accounts, and services. We look forward to bringing this convenient and secure platform to offer you the personalized service you appreciate from the credit union.
Easier Account Login Recovery
It happens to all of us. Forgetting your password, or even your username, is a fact of modern life. We know how cumbersome our password self-reset has been over recent years, and we are pleased to share that starting on 9/26/23, this process will become much easier—and even include login recovery if you forget your username.
Get help with a forgotten password or username.
If you do not know your username, click “Try another way” for more login options.
Use MyLancoCards to manage Lanco FCU Visa cards
We plan to add card information and controls into Lanco FCU’s online and mobile banking in the future, but this integration is not ready at this time. Continue to use the MyLancoCards mobile app or website to manage your Lanco FCU credit card account and/or debit card notifications, controls and more.
